Unprofessional Service and Disrespectful Treatment by Staff
I’ve come to this shop a few times in the past for oil changes and never had a bad experience until today. I walked in calmly and respectfully and was met with instant attitude from the person at the desk (Jake). I inquired about a diagnostic that had previously been offered free to both myself and my son in the past, only to be told it would cost over $200 this time. I declined and requested only an oil change.

After the oil change was complete, my keys were held for 15 minutes before I was informed my car was ready—despite me visibly waiting in the lobby. When I was finally called, I was quoted nearly double what I’ve consistently paid at this same location. When I calmly questioned the sudden increase, Jake responded in a very dismissive tone, saying, “You didn’t pay thirty-something dollars here.” I found that response unprofessional and unnecessary, especially considering I have past receipts showing otherwise.

When I expressed my disappointment and mentioned I planned to leave a review, he handed back the cash I had attempted to use for the payment and said, “It’s on the house.” As I was walking out, he added, “Don’t come back.” No receipt, no proper explanation—just cash handed back and a cold dismissal. This is the first time I’ve been treated with such disrespect at an establishment I’ve used before. I definitely don’t plan on returning, and I hope future customers are treated with more professionalism than I was.
