Been using German Star for several years and two BMWs. They are deep with expertise and very nice folks to work with. My 20 year old Z4 drives like new because of their attention to detail on inspections, maintenance, and repairs. Super knowledgeable service techs always keep you informed during repair processes that by definition are about discovery and repair of the root cause.

I told them it was my only car and I couldn't be without. They gave me a loaner (this was not offered to me the first time I took it there in 2021) so this is a huge improvement, and I got my car back in just a few hours.

Oip change and recommendations

Dee was great. I came in to get an oil change and change out all the air filters. So the oil change cost me $180. I have a 2015 Audi A8L. The air filters cost me and it was a total $504. Now for a lot of people, including me, is a lot of money. But go to the dealership and their minimum price was $280 plus. And that is not including the air filters. So you can only imagine.
They also did a full inspection on my car and found some issues. Which I was very appreciative. Also they took pictures of the problems so you can see for yourself they are not making it up.
Most repairs on an Audi or any German car will be expensive. But German auto will be more reasonable than the dealership. Constantine and Dee have treated with respect and made my experience pleasant. I will take my Audi there for all my repairs.
Also note, they will work on any brand car. Like my ex-wife's Equinox. You can trust them. And feel you are getting a fair shake.

Excellent service - quality

First time visiting for scheduled regular maintenance — great service. They recommended changing the brakes with plain understandable information with options (I can do it now at the 50%) or do it later. I like that they had a conversation with me. I got dropped off at home and pickup up as well. I’ll use them again for sure. The staff are really nice and engaging.

Check engine light & oil change

I would like to preface by saying that it’s an easy 10/10.

I have a 2017 VW GTI which I used to always take to the dealership for anything and everything. This last year my check engine light had come on 3 different times, and each time I took it to the dealership, and each time they “fixed” it, and then like a month later the light would come back on. And EVERY time it was always the same problem. At this point I couldn’t help but feel like the dealership was just fucking with me lol. So ultimately, I decided to go a different route, and made the decision to bring it to someone other than the VW dealership. German Star Motors was recommended to me by a friend. I specifically wanted to bring it here since my car is a German car. I wasn’t about to just bring it to any ol’ shop. I made an appointment online which was super easy, and they got me in super quick. Immediately upon entering I was greeted by D, who is FANTASTIC. If I could rate him I’d also give him a 10/10 lol. He was friendly, personable, and just so easy to talk to. He made my entire experience stress-free, and never felt like I was being taken advantage of, which as a woman is GREAT, and he kept me updated on the status of my car throughout the day. I brought my car in on a Thursday morning, and several things ended up needed to be addressed, so I was fully expecting them to keep my car over the weekend. Nope! D called towards the end of the day saying they were all done, and that I was able to pick up my car at any time. I didn’t get off work in time before they closed, so instead I got to pick my car up the next morning •ᴗ•

I feel the price I paid was reasonable for the work that was done, and honestly, my car is very important to me, I’ll pay whatever to get the best service to ensure my car is in the best condition it can be in. I mean, I was taking it to the dealership every time for services for crying out loud lol if I didn’t mind paying their prices, obviously I was MORE than happy and willing to pay what GSM charged lol. Anyway, long story short, I have found my new car shop and will only be taking my car here from now on.

OH, and this has nothing to do with anything, but I’m a huge BTS (kpop group) fan, and when I first brought my car in I could here them playing music in their garage AND A BTS SONG WAS PLAYING. IN A GERMAN CAR SHOP LOL. that’s when I knew I found the right place haha.

Service is different

I've been a costumer for a few years now. Owning a German car it's hard to find a shop in trust to do work on my vehicles because of the price I need the best and most trusted. I have noticed some differences in service recently. Before I use to feel like I was dropping my car off to ppl who were passionate about what they do ( had a love for their profession ) the last time it felt like a fast food restaurant and im just a costumer buying a burger that came out of a microwave. The panamera came back leaking oil due to the drain plug that wasn't leaking before I brought it in and the cayenne headliner wasn't put back properly when I had them check for water leaking. They didn't put it back the way I dropped it off leaving the edges around the doors hanging. That really made me upset especially for what I paid for no conclusion or results for my issue. I'm not a complainer but I appreciate being treated as if I'm valued as a costumer because the only reason I come there is because I value the service that you have provided in the past. I'd normally give u a 10 but I'm gonna have to give u a 7 this time. Let's get back to the old ways. Thank u
