I brought my 2023 Toyota COROLLA in for body work and painting and unfortunately my experience could NOT have been worse! After the car was repaired, everything appeared to be fine but after about 4 months the paint began to peel on the bumper near to right headlight. Just to be clear, I understand things can happen and maybe it wasn't prepped properly or there was paint failure. I took it in stride.
After having brought the car in for the second time and after they installed a new bumper and repainted it, I got the car back and it wasn't calibrated! That's RIDICULOUS! How could somebody not notice the car needed recalibration, the thing lights up like a Christmas tree when you turn it on! So now I'm driving a car without ANY SAFETY SYSTEMS WORKING! What happens if I get into an accident? Does that make me liable? Does that make Gerber Collision and Glass liable? Who the actual HECK (would like to use a stronger word here) DOES THIS?
Oh by the way, while there was a severe thunderstorm, I don't appreciate the fact that the entire driver's side floor and the inside of the door entry are CAKED IN MUD! Due to the painting of the bumper, I can't bring it to the car wash for 1 month. As a customer, I just don't want to be treated like a total jerk, ya know?
So let's just say, I would like to calibration done by a third party. I DO NOT want to step foot into your place again!
