I chose Genesis over Mercedes.
Genesis made an amazing vehicle with the GV70. This SUV has all the advanced technology and such a sexy look.I’m so glad I didn’t sign on the dotted lines at the Mercedes Benz dealership. Lastly, my sales rep Gary put the icing on the cake ? by providing a knowledgeable, transparent, and honest car buying experience.

Incompetent mechanics
On January 1st, I brought my new Genesis G70 in for service because the steering wheel was popping in my hands, and making a clicking noise. The Hyundai technician, Dan, insisted this was normal, nothing was wrong, and that “this is how magnets in the steering work.” There are no magnets in the steering column, no idea what he’s talking about, and I’m seriously doubting his qualifications.

I took the car to McGrath City Hyundai, and they found that the steering shaft coupler was loose and rubbing against the firewall. The problem was fixed by them on February 5th.

Never coming to Genesis of South Loop again.
