The communication of this dealership is severely lacking. Our original salesman failed to give us requested numbers, didn’t update us on delivery dates of our car, didn’t order the add-ons we requested (2+ months we waited for the car- he had plenty of time to order this), and basically ghosted us the week we were expecting to pick the car up. We had to call/text multiple times to connect with someone just to find out he was out for the holidays and nobody we spoke to knew what was going on. We finally connected with another salesman who was very helpful and answered all questions quickly. At that point out expectations were very low when we physically arrived at the dealership to sign papers and pick up the car. Thankfully the in person experience was great and the staff that helped us was awesome. If you do a little research, Genesis dealerships have a less that perfect reputation, so we were prepared for the worst but really hoped for the best. Considering how much you pay for a Genesis, we expected way more. They have a long way to go if they are trying to get on the “luxury” level. The in person experience with the new salesman and finance department was the saving grace of this review. The G70 checked all of the boxes for us otherwise we would have been long gone.

My salesman, Hyrum, was great. Finding my vehicle and getting my trade-in valued was pretty straightforward and painless. I put down a deposit on my vehicle and secured my own financing. I waited for a month for the vehicle to arrive and was called down to the dealership to complete paperwork. After declining to purchase any of the b.s. upsell products, I was told that I could not take the vehicle home unless I let them run a credit check on me for "Identity verification" because my payment hadn't arrived from the bank yet. I made a 45 minute trip there and back only to return home empty-handed. After a few days I called in and was able to take my car home. I have never had thus happen to me in any of my previous vehicle buying experiences.

I had narrowed down my new car purchase to a few different options from different auto-manufacturers. Genesis of Sandy helped me with all my questions, even before making me come sit down face to face like a lot of dealers are wont to do. When I made my decision they didn't actually have the vehicle in stock that I decided to go with, but they tracked it down and brought it in for me. I went in to finalize the deal, and was shocked at how quickly and smoothly I was out and done. Overall it was a great experience, and assuming Genesis keeps making vehicles that fit my needs, I'll be back here again for my next one!
