Brought car in for tire repair due to nail
My car is very new. Just purchased at end of June. Took vehicle in for a tire repair 1st time and they did great and changed new tire. No issues. I took my car in on 8/9/21 for tire repair on same tire and they noted a nail was there and would just need to patch and they noted noted there was a recall on G80 part..so they checked. Then they came to me and said it’s time for your oil change and tire rotation. I said okay go ahead. After repairs was done I drove home and got on freeway and my brand new car did not sound brand new anymore. I’m hearing noise that were not there prior to me bringing my brand new $61,000 plus car in to just fix a tire. The next day I got more concerned because I had not drove my car after picking up & continued to here the unpleasant sound. G80 do not have any winning noises when purchasing. So I took my car back up to service and they had a mechanic ride with me & he verified that there was a noise and my car should not be sounding like that. They could not get me back in to look at my car until the following week, which will be Monday 8/16/21. It’s very disappointing when you take your car in for services for first time after getting a brand new car.. and noticing that someone in Service obviously may have done something wrong to your new vehicle and you have to wait the following week to get the vehicle looked at! We pay to much money and I feel they should have worked my car in to address the same day. Now I have to ride 4 more days with this noise.. not knowing if something worst will happen to my car. They did not Even look under the hood just to make sure it was not anything severe.
