I was notified my car had a seat belt recall. Genesis automatically ordered the parts and called me to set up an appointment. They were very on top of everything and provided my a ride to and from the dealership. I then received a call from johan to check on my experience and answer my additional questions. He provided me a number to get in touch with him if I ever need anything else with my car. The service was impeccable.

Awful all around service
Let’s start with they sell you on the Genesis experience. They didn’t have a loaner car. So had to spend over 2 hours there.
Car wash was awful. Looked worse than when. I brought it in.

I must admit that the quality of my experience with Shawn was outstanding. His Skillsin all areras were well matched for the client base of a Genesis owner.
So , my inital reaction was one of adjustment to the transition and my prior experiences. Tracy was extremely engaging and , although a different style, extremely responsive and engaging.

Overall poor experience trying to get my G70 in for regular maintenance (oil change/tire rotation). Originally scheduled a valet pickup 4 weeks in advance only to be called the actual morning of pickup that no driver was available to come out. I was assured by Sean that he would call me back later in the day to reschedule. That didn’t happen. I left him a voicemail the next day but still did not get a call back. I called 10 days later to reschedule and was connected with Sean to arrange. He did not apologize for never getting back to me and put me on the calendar with a valet pickup 4 weeks out. And then I got a call the night before that pickup by Mike who said they can’t honor this pickup or the service appointment either. He was not clear as to why the last minute cancelation other than the schedule got messed up. I explained this was now the second last minute cancelation but he assured me he’d call me the next day to reschedule and make good. It’s been over a week now and I’m still waiting for that call. I'm amazed at the clear lack of customer service or care on display here. Love the car but not going to fooled a third time with this place. Will give Denville my business.

Sean was the best thing about the place. the people quoting the trade in did not do them justice.
They took advantage of me as a result of the shortage in cars where they were charging top dollar on the new car but low balled me on the trade in. The insurance company offered me 6,000 dollars more.

Nice honest and courteous people.
Our service adviser Sean Grundy and the entire service staff took care of our vehicle with great care and efficiency. All work requested was done to our complete satisfaction and at very reasonable cost. Our vehicle was delivered back to us washed and vacuumed.

Very responsible and personable Genesis service manager.
The Genesis service manager at Global went out of his way to get my G 80 in for service. He personally greeted me where I dropped the car off, and listened to my explanation of the problem. He provided me with a 2021 G 80 loaner car for the duration of the service.
He kept me apprised of what the diagnosis was for my car, and when the work would be completed. Sean Grundy would be a very valuable asset wherever he worked, Global is lucky to have him. Also upon completion of the repairs, he personally dropped my car off at my house, and again explained what had to be repaired on my car.

Sean has been my service advisor since I began using Genesis of North Plainfield for service. The service experience is 180 degrees opposite of the poor service and sales experience I had with the Genesis dealer where leased the car.
