This pandemic has certainly had some impacts on the availability of vehicles, but soooo many of these dealerships are taking advantage of the buyer with seriously stupid markups. An educated consumer needs to be flexible with how far they'll go to purchase a vehicle from the right dealership. I spoke with 5 other dealerships that were closer, but neither of them had the patience, personality or poise to commit to a $70k investment, which made my 3 hour drive worth the trip.

Issue after issue
First issue I had after buying my vehicle Genesis G70 2019 in June of 2020 brand new, is my title was sent to the wrong bank and took half a year to correct issue and send to my bank I financed with. Second issues was my first service appointment I was told when buying the vehicle I would never need to stop in store due to the services of picking up vehicle and dropping off loaner vehicle for any service. I rescheduled twice due to no vehicles. I was then told I as a Genesis owner that I would receive a Hyundai which is against what I was promised. Nevertheless I accepted the loaner, but once I arrived at dealership for vehicle they didn’t have one for me and forced me to wait when I had other engagements to attend. I was told it would only take 30mins and was at service appointment well over 1 hour. They then tried charging me for oil change until I told them I’m first owner and was told all services for 3 years or 36,000 miles are free. They guy went away for about 20 mins looking into system and then told me they made an error he fixed(wow this place makes mistake after mistake) Now I’m waiting to get my second service completed and I can’t get ahold of any service advisor so I drove to the store to speak to service manger about issue after a service advisor stated they will not have loaners for several weeks to months. I asked why make promises you can’t keep and asked to speak to manager. Manager tells me he is getting a loaner back soon therefore I kept my appointment. Well today I get a call stating they will not have any vehicles and to reschedule and call back to the next day to see if any loaners are then available. Mind you the lot is full of Genesis and I rarely see anyone in a G70 in the city of Indianapolis. I also bought my brand new vehicle that was used as a loaner by this company and they provided that customer with another vehicle I was test drove that day. I don’t understand how these guys sold me a brand new loaner vehicle, and they have several Genesis on the lot but they tell me they don’t have any to provide to me when it comes time for services. This place is full of lies and false advertising when buying vehicles making promises they still have not been able to keep. This same service they provide is only for the first 3 years of ownership. This June will be my first year owning car and I’ve yet to experience everything Genesis promised. I love the car but customer service is at its worse. I’m actually looking into selling my car on Vroom by the end of this year if issues continue and will return back to either Infiniti cars or Volvo SUV. It’s a big difference between those luxury companies and how they treat customers compared to Genesis/Hyundai. We all know Genesis are expensive so I expect more as a customer if you want to keep me satisfy and buying again once it comes time for a new car. Will tell all family and friends to avoid Genesis due to this horrible experience!
