Oil Change
The man who assisted me lied about my engine air filter and cabin air filter needing to be replaced so they could charge more money. I called him on his lie. I told him that I came to G-Tech Automotive a few months ago to have a new battery installed, and they changed one of the filters at that time. He looked at his records and confirmed that was true. The other filter was changed the last time I had my oil changed at another auto shop. He then showed me one of the filters to show me why they had recommended a replacement. It was completely clean besides a few big pieces of debris which he easily removed by tapping the filter against the wall.

After reviewing your visit, we confirmed that your engine air filter had been replaced a few months prior. When it was removed during this service, and physically shown to you, it contained debris including acorns, leaves and dust, hence the recommendation to replace it.

We want you to know that protecting our reputation and our customers’ trust is far more important to us than any single service recommendation. Our goal is always to provide clear, honest guidance to help maintain your vehicle’s performance.

Your feedback has prompted us to strengthen our transparency even further.
