Can't wait forever
Was told my vehicle has an internal oil leak and to drop it off at 930am for inspection prior to moving forward. At 4pm they still hadn't gotten to it. At 11am the next day they still hadn't gotten to it. You need a diagnosis to get a loaner but they never got to that point so I get to pick my car up and reschedule and do it all over again.

Great experience!
Working with Salesman Chris Mullins and Finance Manager Charles McReynolds was a refreshing change from previous dealerships we've worked with. They were upfront, responsive, kind and patient. They went above and beyond what we expected in service to us purchasing a new vehicle. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Great Vehicles, Unsavory sales practices
Let me first get out of the way that I love the car and the warranty. That's not the issue here. My issue is with a specific sales person, Scottie Austin, and the general manager, whom I'll get to in a second. During the paperwork, Scottie tried to sneak past an obviously inflated rate for the loan and when confronted with it, he back pedaled stating that it was the best available due to rising interest rates. I have very excellent credit and knew I could get a much lower rate. After some back and forth I finally told them I would get my own financing and they started racking on additional fees stating that the lender's rate was due to the deal I was receiving. I brought this to the attention of the general manager, Richard Black stock and he was very dismissive and condescending. It was only once I got corporate headquarters involved that I was able to get our agreed upon sale price and the car. The entire experience has left me with a horrible taste in my mouth about Friendship of Bristol, in terms of the sales department. Let me specify that the service department is excellent and that they understand the importance of building and fostering a relationship with their customers. If you plan on buying a vehicle through Friendship of Bristol, get your financing outside of their terms as this will serve you well and limit a stressful purchasing experience.

Peeling Paint
My 2018 Hyundai Elantra is a very good car except for the white paint peeling in several places on the car I contacted Hyundai USA they called me on a Saturday was very apologetic of my problem .Hyundai USA directed me to Friendship Hyundai in Johnson City Tn The atmosphere there was one of accommodation The Staff were very helpful Especially Jessica Campbell she was very Nice and professional.Hyundai is painting my car free of charge and I have a rental for three weeks I know where my next car will be purchased just because of the hospitality alone Others need to learn from Jessica what that actually means

Efficient with a sense of urgency
Exceptional service deserves recognition. Pleasant management and staff are organized and efficient and always give great attention to detail. Accurate diagnostic repairs and exceptional follow through are what I expect and I have not been disappointed yet. I have four vehicles that I service and this service department is by far the most efficient that I have ever been to. Although it is a distance to get there, the satisfaction and confidence in the service that I receive from the service department is worth the trip.

Quick repair given delay of parts.
The repair was completed well. The dealership did a fine job. The delay was due to a back order for the part. This wasn’t the dealerships fault.
