Sales process fine. Service horrible.
The car buying process was fine, but getting service has been a nightmare. They promised we would be part of the family and a luxury experience, but it has been anything but. Long lead times to get appointments then today they claimed I did not have an appointment for my Auto Butler. It was an add-on, but they do not have the capacity to provide the service. While I like the car, the service issues have made me wish I had gone with a more established brand.

Please post your own service issues to make sure others know. This was a big purchase based on the “luxury” service.

I bought a 2022 GV80 last year. Had no issues till about a week ago. While driving the engine RPM will drop to 1000. There is no gas pedal response. I get a Malunction indicator light and immobilizer indicator light. While this is going on it will shift to neutral all by itself. I have to put over a d come to a stop. Put it in park and it will start. I called Genesis of chandler yesterday cause it happened 3 times. I was told maybe we can get you in August. I said no problem cause if it happens again I will call and have it towed to the dealership. I was told they are not accepting emergency at this time. Today I was in the area to see what can be done. Was told the same thing. I have appointment Aug 10th. Well driving on the freeway doing 75 today it happened again and was lucky I was not rear ended. I have been calling 5 times to tell them what happened and no response. This is a major safety issue and should be taken care of. I will never get another car from this dealership.

We had a great relationship with Earnhardt of Gilbert our salesperson gave us the opportunity to test drive our Genesis GV 70 Jack Peoples our salesperson he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, no high pressure , and kept us informed about our vehicle arrival. We also had the opportunity to have Meagan McClearn
Come to our home and spend time teaching us all about the safety features and operations of the vehicle!

Unprofessional Buying Process
The buying process was very unprofessional by the salesman. The vehicle was not ready when we arrived for test drive and delivery. Several dealer add ons that I did not want were added to the purchase price. The dealership environment was very unprofessional.

Great customer service
I traded in my Hyundai Santa Fe for the Genesis GV70. Ken Rothe was my sales specialist and he did a fantastic job explaining the benefits of my new car.
He made the process go very smoothly.
And to top it off I get a call from Megan the following day to schedule a time to come over to my house to go over all the great features of the car. She did a outstanding job going over all the many features of the car. Great job all around

No pressure, positive interaction, thorough even on a hot day
Our sales representative, Shawn was easy and enjoyable to work with. He was able to answer all our questions. We visited the dealership on three different days in order to make a decision on buying our first Genesis. Shawn never made us feel under pressure or annoying. When you are making such a large investment it is important to feel cared for and well informed, Shawn did a great job, we would recommend him to our family and friends.
