Unprofessional/ negligent
The last couple times I had my car worked on there I was not happy at all. I had a valve cover gasket “installed” in early spring and had them looking into a misfire problem. They had the car for 4 months and couldn’t even figure out the misfire problem. And when I picked my car up after finally saying screw it and living with the issue I noticed it got left outside with the windows down and it got rained in. There was mold all over the passenger side floor. It smelled absolutely disgusting. There was clear evidence it got rained in and I have pictures to prove it! I then had to bring the car back for warranty work on the same valve cover gasket after a month or two because it wasn’t installed correctly and it failed. I told them about the mold and that I had to get it detailed and they insulted my intelligence by saying just a little bit of moisture on my shoes can cause mold. This is completely untrue. They said they didn’t do anything wrong. Then proceeded to tell me about other cars they leave out and they have mold in them too! A little moisture from your feet isn’t going to cause mold like I had. I’m a full time Auto Body tech and I know this just isn’t true. I work on cars everyday. You have to have a decent amount of moisture and then seal it in for it to mold. They laughed in my face. I always tell them to put OEM parts on my car as well. I took my car to a different mechanic and they figured out the misfire problem in 1 day. before I took my car to this new mechanic I noticed they broke part of my wire harness for my spark plugs. These guys are a complete joke. I’m just going to pay to replace the harness myself because obviously they can’t do anything as simple as spark plugs without damaging or messing anything up. This shop used to be good when Dave himself was running it. The quality has tanked and their work ethic is terrible now. I wish I could leave less than 1 star. This shop puts cheap crap on your car even after you tell them OEM. not that it will hurt their business but I’m never going back. I’m also telling people never to go back and recommending everyone to who I go to. I used to look up to these guys but now they’re just complete HACKS! WHAT A JOKE!!
