"La puerta"

I've been getting my services taken care of here for the time I've owned my 2016 Elantra. I had it in for major service this time. Flushing the radiator and transmission. Oil change and rotation as regular service on top of that. I'd gotten a service coupon in my email and presented it during the write up. Up to $40.00 off of services that went up and over $400.00. I left and got a text a very short time later that my vehicle was already done. That it needed new tires, but was otherwise ready for pick-up. I knew that they had a sale on tires. Buy 3 and get the 4th free. There was a big advertising poster on the door about it, so I authorized the work. A little over three hours later I got a text it was ready and went to settle up. The other guy printed my bill out and asked Remi twice "La puerta?" to which Remi was indifferent. So I paid and got out because it had already been a long day. The first I noticed when I got home was that I was charged for four tires. Upon going over the bill it became clear that they had applied a $40.00 discount to my total bill. It's a bit of a slap and I definitely don't appreciate it after years of being a loyal customer.

It's been better.

I've been coming here for regular service for a few years now. I want to make sure I'm meeting my end of the maintenance obligations for my vehicle. I'm not a huge fan of the staff, but contact is usually minimal. This last time around I'm disappointed because I went in for several things at once. I knew it would be over $700.00 and I had a coupon code for up to $40.00 services. It helps. So I get a text a very short time later that my vehicle is ready, and that it needs new tires. I knew they had a sale on tires because there are signs advertising it in the office. So I authorized the work as my vehicle was already in the shop. A few hours later my vehicle was ready and I'm in the office again to pay and leave. One sad noticeable detail that the service manager was clearly indifferent to: no discount on the tires. $1286.29 after a $40.00 service discount. Thanks, guys! I'll remember that.

Service Extraordinaire

When it comes to depending on Chico Hyundai to service our 2016 Sonata we consistently have depended on Remi Robles through the years. This was especially important last month when our engine quit working on the freeway and we had the car towed to this dealership. Remi was there for us at each step along the path to getting our car inspected, finding the problem that the engine froze and needed to be replaced. The day he ordered the engine he also got us a rental until our vehicle was repaired. This is so important since our beloved Sonata is our only transportation.
During the process which took a month, I was able to text or email Remi for updates and he always got back to me. Thank you for having such a knowledgeable service representative that not only gets the job done but has actually become a friend. Earl & Kaye Stotler

Great customer service

Nick at Chico Hyundai was extremely helpful to me. I originally bought my vehicle at Chico Hyundai approximately nine years ago. I needed to find information about my 10-year extended warranty and was having difficulty locating the paperwork. Nick took the time to understand my issue. Even though the information I needed was contained within another department at Chico Hyundai Nick personally communicated with the other department and got me the information I needed in a very prompt manner.
It was nice to see an employee who did not have the attitude that is all too common of "that's not my job". Prior to getting Nick's help I had spent a week trying to locate the information to no avail. Thanks for your excellent customer service, Nick and Chico Hyundai.

Very efficient

I made a same-day online appointment. The service scheduling website was easy to use. I was mer and greeted by name at the exact time of my appointment. Car was in service bays within 20 minutes. I was texted 1:13 minutes after arrival that the oil change, tire rotation, and recall had all been completed. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the operation.

Great service, but expensive

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation found out I was due for 60,000 mile service and inspection. Upon inspection they found that I needed spark plugs. I paid $185 for 4 spark plugs and was charged about the same in labor. Seem very expensive

Our hourly labor rate for our technicians is $185 and we truly understand you most likely did not expect to have these extra services done as you were only coming in for an oil change but it will be whats best for your vehicle in the long run. Prompt and excellent care.

Always able to have an appointment with a few days. Prompt and on time completion of service with helpful, friendly advice from service people. Having comfortable service with a friendly driver to and back from my home is another plus.
