Scammers & Crooks

I stopped by this shop to because my car was not starting properly. 5 minutes after being there they have already determined it was my battery and alternator. I thought wow these guys know what they are doing until Alex the secretary told me i would have to pay upfront for the battery and alternator and that was $1,750.00 ?? That was extremely high way over priced. So I asked why do I pay upfront ? and I was told so the shop can order the alternator ?? As I am waiting what started out I thought was going good all of the sudden starts getting scary. I just got charged about 10x to much for those items a man pulls up to the front of the shop and blows the horn. Alex the secretary takes off running out and jumps in the front seat, and they pull off. About 10 minutes later Alex returns and tells the men in the shop that he has lunch. About 4 guys come from the service area come thru the front of the store and went down a hall way. I never saw any lunch bags. Any way after about 30 minutes one guy comes back thru and he was a nervous wreck. 5 minutes later a second guy comes back thru digging in his shirt and pants pocket frantically looking for a cigarette. Then the other guys came very quietly thru the lobby and back into the service area like they had just seen a ghost. When Alex came back in from the service area I said can you give me a estimate on how long will it take to get the alternator in and installed, and he said "hold that thought" went back into the service area and I see my car backing out of the service area. He comes back in with paper work and says, " You are good to go my friend that will be $1,936.00" ?? There is no way my car is ready the alternator had not even been delivered. Alex says they already had one in the back that matched my make and model. I replied ok but I already paid you earlier and this dude starts trying to argue with me over the pay. Then some other hillbilly comes from that same hallway that everyone disappeared too for fake lunch barking at me about trying to rip his company off. I said look John Wayne i have already paid and pulled out my receipt. He and secretary Alex looked over it like I had done something wrong ?? Finally John Wayne says the car is ready and he stands behind his workers and I will be happy with the job they performed on the vehicle. At this point I grabbed my receipt and walked out the front door and my car is running. I put my car in reverse and took off thru the mall parking lot and felt i was lucky to get out of there alive. I went home and parked my car. The next morning I go start my car and nothing ? The car is dead ? I raise the hood and my same battery. I kneel down look up under the car and my same alternator ?? I immediately called Carolina Auto Service and secretary Alex answered and I asked him what kind of scam are they running at that shop ? He said hold on. He puts me on hold for 15 minutes comes back and says Bill Kratz the owner told me to tell you that if you come back to the shop or bring your car back to the shop he would charge you with Trespassing. I couldnt believe this, they just stole my money and never replaced my battery or alternator ?? I called back because I paid them $1,750.00 and wanted my money back a refund. Alex and John Wayne get on the phone and start cussing me telling me I tried to get out of not paying and I said yes I had already paid you and you tried to charge me twice. Then John Waynes says if you want to go to jail for Trespassing come on back down here and hung up. Get this .. I am taking my wife to her cancer appointment at Novant Hospital and a Winston Salem Police Officer walks passed us and turns around and ask my name very politely and I told him, then he turns into Bueford T Justice ordering me to place my hands behind my back and stop resisting while calling for back up. I never moved i stood perfectly still while he slammed handcuffs on me and about tore my shoulder out of socket. My wife is hysterical at this point asking Bueford T Justice to explain what is going on. After I am taking off to jail and had to leave my wife crying at her appointment I get to the jail to find out that John Wayne had secretary Alex go down town and swear out a Communicating Threats warrant on me. You know I never went back to that shop but those crooks had the nerve to steal my money then take a charge on me and that is about the lowest point of humanity you can go.
