Sorry to hear about your experience Mr. Fahy. As for the misdiagnosis, the vehicle was towed in and you had said that it needs a clutch. When the technician had removed the old clutch and saw that it was still in good condition, we called you to get some more information on what happened with the vehicle that you concluded that it needed a clutch. We even had the Technician speak to you on the phone to get some insight but you insisted that its the clutch and just replace the clutch - we replaced the clutch. The vehicle did not move any more than when it had arrived with the new clutch and the technician diagnosed the clutch master cylinder. You were never charged a diagnostics fee. The reason the removal of the new clutch would be expensive is because the removal would take about 5-6 hours labor time. You were informed that it would have to be charged if we were to remove the new clutch. We discounted the labor for the clutch master cylinder completely and more in order to help you out. You were only charged for the part side on the clutch master cylinder. Again, apologize for the inconvenience YOUR diagnoses has caused.
