Nissan Murano Repair
My car was making a grinding noise noise and the found it was both the front wheel bearings that needed replacement to be replaced. Also while the car was there they did the 1000 mile checkup and required service. All of this was done in one day. The car is operating properly and I’m satisfied with the competitive cost of the service.

Fast tire replacement
I've come to depend on Cape May Riggins for my car service. Judging by the volume of business they handle on a hot summer day in this tourist town I am not alone. I noticed low tire pressure in my right rear tire and their competent crew immediately found the culprit - a screw had lodged itself in the tread. Barney Linn, service adviser, ordered a new tire and his friendly technicians installed it within minutes. He managed this in between a full workload.

Dead Car Battery
AWESOME SERVICE!!! Battery died while on vacation. Riggins provided prompt professional service. Checked charging system and replaced battery in an hour. Also, friendly banter among employees made us feel like family.

Not what I expected from a AAA recommended facility
My car was towed here during the 4th of July holiday after stalling and not starting. With it being a holiday weekend, it was not seen until the following Monday, which is understandable. I was called that Monday and told that the car was “done” and ready to pick up. I was surprised because no call was made prior to this to authorize any work, but that’s really not even the biggest concern in this situation. When I asked the person on the phone what was wrong with the car they said there was a problem with the “fuel pump harness” and there was a temporary repair. I was confused by this and asked if it was someone else’s temporary repair (like if it had been done prior) and if it was now fixed. The person on the phone said it was “fixed” and it would “last years to come.” They told me the price of the “repair,” which included the diagnostic, and I of course paid assuming the car was fixed and had a family member pick up the car as we had already had to travel away from the area (we are not from the area). No paperwork was given detailing the repair after I paid, including when the vehicle was picked up by my family member. I was only given a receipt online for what I paid with a message that read “null”. Not even two weeks later, the car had the same problem and required a tow again. This time we were closer to our home and had it towed to our mechanic. When I described to him what was told to me after the first occurrence, he was confused because nothing came up about problems in the fuel system and he explained that the issue had to do with spark at the injection site. He asked if I could get a copy of the previous work order so he could double check the reported problem. After searching both the emails and texts online from that day sent by this Riggins, I was unable to find anything detailing the work done. I decided to call and ask for it to be sent. The person on the phone did email me the invoice, which detailed the repair as follows: “FIND OPEN AT FUEL INJECTION HARNESS. RETAINING CLIP MISSING/BROKEN.
EFFECT TEMPORARY REPAIR. NEEDS HARNESS REPLACEMENT.” When I showed this to my mechanic, they shook their head and said that this isn’t even talking about what the actual problem is and he proceeded to describe the fuel injection pack to me. He ultimately told me all of the coil and plugs needed to be replaced and that there was no “harness fix” that would resolve this problem. He also described the “work” that appeared to be done in the same area as two zip ties holding wires in place and basically said I paid what I paid (hundreds of dollars) for two zip ties. After finally seeing this described in writing and having the car towed again and ultimately repaired, I can assuredly say I would never take my car to this facility again. This entire situation is confusing on a number of levels. This is the first time ever I have seen a mechanic note a repair as “effect temporary”. “Temporary” repairs are things I do to my car to get them to a mechanic to ultimately get fixed, not something I take to a mechanic to get done to my car. This doesn’t even make good business sense to me as the facility would have gotten more money for actually repairing the problem. No matter how I look at this, this is not work I would expect from a AAA recommended facility, nor is it work I would expect to cost what I paid. I hope that this facility will do right by us on this one and refund for this. That’s the least that could be done.

My van wouldn’t start. They came to the rescue.
Van start was completely dead. Looked to me to be an alternator. They ran a diagnostic the next day and found it to be a battery with defective cells, a bad battery cable. They were able to fix everything the following day and at a decent price.

AVOID THIS PLACE
After a 2 hr drive from home to Wildwood, our car stalled on the road after leaving a store. Triple A towed our car after an hr. Wait in 94 degrees to cape May riggins stated it was an approved triple A garage. The garage stated that if we did not hear from them next day by 1pm to call them. We did and was told they are still “diagnosing “. I called around 2:30 for an update and the person answering the phone said he does not know he is not the mechanic and could not answer me. I ask d if I could please speak to the mechanic and then a rude, nasty person came on the phone and said he doesn’t know and that I k keep bothering him. I stated that this is my second call and we told to call earlier if we didn’t hear anything which we didn’t. He stated to me you know what? Get your keys and come get your car I’m not going to work on it. I stated is the car running? He said sometimes it starts, sometimes it doesn’t. Day 2 of our vacation no car. We had triple A tow it to Honda which they were reluctant to do cause it wasn’t one of their “approved “ shops. Honda wasn’t able to identify the issue because the history was erased by previous shop so we drove it back to wildwood where it stalled again. We were towed back again to Honda. Worried if this would be resolved before we had to check out and return home we left the car there. This time the history showed on our car and the issue was as identified and resolved. The people at Honda were knowledgeable and pleasant.
