Engine rebuild
My GMC Sierra 5.3 had a knock with only 56,000 miles on truck. Was due to the famous lifter failures. Part of the fuel management system that shuts cylinders down to save gas. I asked Jimmy, my friend and mechanic to rebuild the engine with the Truck Norris camshaft/ fuel management delete kit. He did an amazing job. And after getting tuned to change everything. The truck now runs on 8 cylinders full time. Has an upgraded cam from Brian Tooly racing. We’re not done yet. But thanks to Jim Buckley. I have a truck with a more powerful and bullet proof engine. Looking forward to an upgraded toque converter and better exhaust then I’ll post a video of the truck.
