BTS Tire & Service would like to address your “deceptive practices” complaint. Both you and your wife were told on several different occasions that we would assess damage occurred to your vehicle from a collision and we only could repair mechanical issues. Under NO circumstances were you ever told that we could do body work. Matter of fact, just coming into my business you would know that we aren’t a body shop but a tire and service center. Secondly, it is evident with the estimate your wife agreed to which entailed a battery, belt tensioner, and rear end suspension evaluation which resulted in a $760 balance. Another confusing area is why you expected the mechanical work which was not part of the accident be included with an insurance claim. The mechanical repairs were completely separate from the bumper incident.
However, our customer service is extremely important and we strive to help all of our customers. With that being said, your car was driven by 2 of my employees to Crown Collision to handle the body work aspect since your wife was uncomfortable in driving it herself. Once they arrived, they were told they had to remain there until Crown received written authorization from the owners. They remained until Crown received the authorization. This was service time we gave you without any consideration.
Lastly, we have in fact reviewed all correspondence between you, your wife and our service manager. We are confident you were never given any false information regarding your vehicle, and the work we were able to complete. We pride ourselves on complete and accurate estimates, repairs, and billing for our customers. We wouldn’t accept anything less than an honest conversation about what the customer’s expectations are and how we can meet those expectations. Unfortunately, our business experience with you didn’t meet anyone’s expectations.
