Worst experience I ever had with a car dealership
The worst service department that I have encountered. Leased a brand new 2025 GV80 Coupe. The Salesman gave us a great deal in reference to the leasing of the vehicle. After that, it all went downhill. The battery on this new 2025 GV80 Coupe has died 4 times, each time disrupting our lives. The last time the battery died was two days before we were supposed to take our daughter to college. The sales department and the service department guaranteed a loaner car. This was guaranteed during the sales pitch and by the service department when the car battery died for the 4th time. After giving, my driver's license, insurance and credit card and informing all parties that my wife and I would need a vehicle replacement to drive our daughter (as previously planned and authorized by the dealership's service department and salesman, I was assured that the loaner car would be available the next day. The next day came and there is no loaner car. In fact, when I called the service department regarding the whereabouts of the loaner car, I was then informed that the car could not be taken to Fort Myers and then was told that there were no loaner cars. My new leased vehicle (which I have paid for) has also been at this Genesis service department for a week, and after 5 days, I get an text stating that this new car is still in line waiting to be looked at. When I call the service department advisor, he does not answer nor return calls or texts promptly. This is the worst car buying experience and customer service that I have ever experienced. Buyer beware. I will be contacting Genesis, and will never recommend this brand or this dealership. We had to pay $500.00 to rent another vehicle. We have been told things by the salesman, like "shit happens' and the only service we continue to get is lip service. I continue to pay for the Genesis, which usage has been extremely limited this month and continue to be without the car and continue to be without any replacement car. The service manager went as far as throwing the salesman under the bus, stating that ' he was not authorized to tell us that we could take the car to Fort Myers, before he switched his comment to "we have no loaner cars.
