Dangerously misread the wear on breakbads.
I took in my car for an oil change and a break inspection. I also told them that I heard crunching sounds from the front end when I braked. They told me that I still had 4mm of break pad remaining so I didn't need to worry about the brake pads yet but they told me I had a sticking caliper in the rear. A couple of days later, I took my car to another mechanic (because I needed to leave town that week and they could see me right away). The other mechanic told me that he could find no stuck caliper but that I only had a little more than one mm of pad remaining on the front brakes - and he showed me the photos taken during inspection and also showed me the brake pads after removing them! I almost embarked on a long interstate road trip with worn out brakes thanks to a careless brake inspection at Blaine Auto Care Transmission!

Thanks for helping me with my car issues. I always feel like it’s a little expensive but I’m grateful the way everything was handled and how flexible they are with availability. I have had issues in the past with other places overcharging because I’m a woman. I appreciate Blaine auto care for making me feel comfortable.
