Oil Change and Caught Bad Filter
Amazing service!
Went in for an oil change and came back and they said they needed to check on it as it had a little leak.
Turned out that the filter was defective and their diligence caught it! They put in another filter, checked it out and sent me on my way!

I so appreciate their thoroughness!

Over charged?
Hi Ricky,
You guys replaced the belts 6,893 miles ago and they squealed when first starting the truck. I called about it and was told it was nothing to worry about. Squealing persisted, so brought it in to be looked at again on Monday and was told the belts needed to be replaced. First time it cost $195.39 ($0 diagnostic, $130 labor, $59.85 parts and $5.54 tax). This time it cost $323.73 ($80 diagnostic, $175 labor, $59.85 parts and $8.87 tax).

You guys have treated me well in the past, but this time:

Recommended This Business While Waiting
I've been a customer for some time and trust them to fix things right, lay out parts and labor costs clearly, finish when they say they will and not treat me like an idiot. I went to a shop on College Av and spoke with a new Berkeley resident. I mentioned that i was waiting for my car and she lit up and asked where. I unequivocally referred her to Berkeley Auto Care. I called on Monday to get a tire replaced and they were able to get me in Tuesday morning. I dropped it off at 8a and they were done by 10a. Incredibly reliable and quick team!
