Was told that it was evap canister. Cost was $800. 1 day later the code is back and the refilling issue was still an issue. I go back and talk to Casey(owner)and Shawn ( the technician that served my vehicle) and Shawn tells me to just listen to the pump as your refilling. You'll hear it getting close to full as it reaches that point. Neither person mentioned looking at the work done and sent me on my way with being told to listen to the pump as I'm refilling. $800 for those words. Im getting under my vehicles soon and I expect to see FoMoCo on the canister and this shop isn't a big fan of OE parts. Both the evap canister and charcoal canister are super easy to get at and fix especially the evap canister a couple bolts and unplug the vent valve line . Definitely not a $800 job. The part with the vent valve included is under $400. At best it's a 40 minute fix. But im expecting to see the stocks OE under vehicle because nothing was actually fixed and theynever seemed concerned about it not being fixed.
