In addition to spending $4k to replace the transmission on our '98 suburban, the vehicle is at a front end shop. The shop just informed me that after replacement of the tie rod ends, (done in Astoria at PNW Automotive) no alignment was completed. The upper ball joints were replaced and they left the lower ball joints intact, which are shot. Now, we are looking at another $1100 just to fix and align the front end, then to replace the tires.
I've called and left messages, but no response. And it amazes me how all these people are raving about this shop. And to think this vehicle was supposed to drive the AlCan............
