Brakes and check engine light
Im a woman and going to shops and explaining what is wrong with my truck I usually get crazy looks or feel like a complete idiot. But not here Allan was verry respectful and understanding and fixed the problem within less than 48 hours of me pulling in the parking lot with no phone call ahead. Excellent and helpful service.

Alan Thompson Automotive is a 5 star repair shop and deserves every one of those stars
The Azle community has a lot of excellent car repair locations. After doing some research in Yelp and other online locations, Alan Thompson Automotive was clearly the best. I had my power steering repaired and he not only did a great job at a price below what I expected, but he made sure that he gave me options to save me the most money. Most repair locations would have just charged me for the additional work that might not have been needed. 100% integrity. Alan is the best, I am a customer for life.

quick & efficient motor mount replacement
I had had two motor mounts replaced previously, so when notified that I had another one also needing replacement I made the appointment with Alan’s shop because I knew they would do the work correctly and swiftly. They don’t draw out the timeline on the repair time unnecessarily, not more than what’s needed. Every type of repair I have had done with Alan has been done correctly and all personal contact has been professional and courteous. I have always received a written estimate with a quote on it before work was started. The end repair price never exceeded the quote. I have only the highest respect and appreciation for Alan and the work he has done for me. I definitely recommend Alan’s shop to anyone needing automotive repairs.

Worst mechanic shop ever
Texted owner on quote to replace a turbo on 2010 Mazda. He replied yes I can do job for 600. I than took my car to them. When I arrived the price went up to 1000. After I showed him text. So I was there and agreed. They stated I would have my car back in a week. Three weeks later with no communication what so ever. You can call that shop 5 times a day and still not talk to them. Horrible and recieved car with working turbo but still had this knocking noise. Month later the car started driving very sluggish. I call them after repeated tries to get car back in cause it running bad. Owner Alan told me a week before Christmas. Bring it in I'll get your car back to you before Christmas. I explained please don't leave without car for holidays. No problem we'll take care of you. I recieved car back Jan 17th. 400 bill and car still in same condition. Running like crap. Now taking it to a certified mechanic. No communication and dont know what they are doing. They worst shop experience ever. Don't learn a lesson the hard way as I did. THEY SUCK

Great service
I have taken my kids cars to Alan multiple times to get looked at, to have minor and major issues fixed. Everytime I have been there all the issues were fixed in a timely manner and I trust his work.
