I went to a different garage, and they gave me a whole list of issues and their solutions. The price?
$5,000!!!! I called up Brownsburg Muffler and asked for a quote for one of the few jobs recommended by the other place, and they came in at half the price! I was naturally skeptical, so I did some research on what kind of labor the job I needed actually entailed. Needless to say, their quote was VERY reasonable and honest about the amount of labor involved (which was much more than the several hours quoted at the other place).
When they began inspecting and servicing, they found that one of two wheel bearings was bad (as opposed to both according to the other shop). The other shop also stated there was a steering problem. They quoted $900. Brownsburg Muffler took a look at everything and didn’t see an issue. They offered to disassemble and try to find the problem. The problem? A loose bolt! They only charged me for a half hour of labor. The other place wanted $900!!!
I love Brownsburg Muffler. They’re transparent, fair, and the quality of the work is ALWAYS top notch!
